- How to Purchase Tickets

- Accepted Forms of Payment
Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) are accepted for phone bookings with our travel specialists. In-office transactions also accommodate cash, debit card payments, and bank transfers if booked through our specialists.
- Payment Options Without Using the Internet
If you prefer not to provide payment details online, you can make a booking with our travel specialists by calling 1 (647) 369-0606, available seven days a week from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM (EST).
- Lowest Price Promise
At Sober Flights, we are confident in offering the lowest prices on international airfares. Our Low Fare Guarantee applies to airfares originating in or departing from Canada, quoted in Canadian Dollars. We accept airfare quotes from other Canadian travel agencies, airlines, and registered businesses and websites. The price beat is applicable only for travel on the same dates, routes, airlines, and flights. But, the onus is on the customer to request a Low Fare Guarantee before booking.
- E-Ticket Issuance and Proof of Purchase
E-tickets are typically issued and emailed within 24 hours of purchase. If you haven’t received them, contact our specialists at 1 (647) 369-0606. Each traveler receives an e-ticket by email, serving as proof of purchase for check-in with valid travel documents/passports.
- Special Requests and Changes
For special meal requests or seating preferences, contact our travel specialists at 1 (647) 369-0606 or email support@soberflights.ca. To make changes to your flight reservation, call our specialists for assistance.
- Using an E-Ticket
Upon booking with Sober Flights, you’ll receive a confirmation and, within one business day, e-tickets with ticket numbers. Print them and present them at check-in along with valid travel documents/passports.
- Check-In Information
For domestic flights, check-in is at least 1.5 hours before departure; for international flights, check-in is at least 3 hours before departure. Verify your flight status with the airline prior to departure, especially during peak times and adverse weather conditions.
- Flight Operated by Another Airline
If your flight is operated by another airline, check in with the listed airline. If their counter is unavailable, proceed to the operating airline’s desk.
- Airport Security Documents
To pass through airport security, you’ll need your boarding pass issued by the airline check-in staff on the day of departure, along with valid travel documents/passports.

Yes, Sober Flights is registered with TICO (Travel Industry Council of Ontario) under license number 50022915, and our TIDS (Travel Industry Designator Service) is 96106076. Additionally, our IATA (International Air Transport Association) accreditation number is 67599416.
- Do you book air tickets to India or other destinations also?
Yes, we book air tickets to India and destinations worldwide. We offer special phone-only fares from Canada/USA to various locations.
- Will you help add a wheelchair and veg meal to our booking?
Yes, we can request the airline for preferences such as meals, wheelchairs, seat selection, or bassinets. However, please note that these requests are not guaranteed and depend on the airline’s availability.
- Your prices are cheaper than online?
Yes, our special net fares are generally more economical than online prices for all international flights.

- Can an Indian passport holder take two stops while coming to Canada from India?
No, an Indian passport holder can have two stops while traveling from Canada to India, but not from India to Canada. A valid visa is required.
- Are flights to India from Canada cheaper via the USA?
Yes, often flights to India from Canada are cheaper than from the USA. However, travel is only possible with a valid US visa.
- Are all air tickets nonrefundable?
Yes, most tickets are nonrefundable, but you can check with our travel consultants at the time of booking.
- What is fare difference? - When a client wants to change the date of travel.
The fare difference refers to the additional cost or savings incurred when a client changes the date of their travel. This adjustment depends on factors like seasonal pricing, day of the week, advance notice, class of service, and availability.
- How much can a client save on Business class or premium economy air ticket booking with you?
We offer special net fares for both business class and premium economy, helping clients save up to $1000 per ticket on business class flights.
- How early should we book to get the best prices?
We recommend booking 3-4 months in advance to save more if your travel plans are finalized.
- Can clients from Vancouver, Calgary, and other cities book with you over the phone?
Yes, clients from all over Canada, including Vancouver and Calgary, can book over the phone. Call or WhatsApp us at 1 (647) 369-0606 from anywhere in Canada, and we will assist you with your travel booking.
- Sometimes we get cheaper online, what should we consider before booking?
Always book from a TICO registered travel agent or agency. TICO will not compensate for scams or lack of service if air tickets are booked with agents or websites based internationally.
- Please explain – How can we book a bassinet?
Request our travel consultant to ask the airline. To secure a confirmed bassinet, book directly with the airline and may need to pay for it. Arrive at least 4 hours in advance to secure an unpaid or unconfirmed bassinet, as it is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- How much layover is recommended between two flights?
We recommend a minimum 1.5 – 2 hours layover between two flights for international flight connections.
- Where will be immigration of the passenger?
Immigration will be done at the first airport upon arrival in the destination country.
- Where will the client get luggage?
Clients will retrieve their luggage at the first airport upon arrival in the destination country unless the same flight continues to their final destination.
- Format for a passenger without a first name or last name?
Every airline has its own format for passengers with missing first names or last names, such as LNU (Last Name Unknown) or FNU (First Name Unknown).
- Do clients get better prices if they book tickets as a group?
Yes, clients can often get better prices when booking air tickets as a group. Airlines typically offer group booking discounts, and various factors contribute to potential cost savings.
- Should we book two separate flights connection for India?
No, we don’t recommend that. Book one flight with a connection to avoid complications if one flight is canceled. Changing or canceling both flights may incur additional expenses.
- Can we go outside the airport during layovers?
This depends on the layover duration and destination. We do not recommend going out of the airport if the layover is less than 5 hours. A visa may be required to leave the airport.
- Do we get a hotel during long layovers?
Not always. Check at the time of booking. You may get a hotel stay if the flight is delayed for more than expected hours.
